Board member Adrian Seddon explains:

"Ticketing was an area which placed a big strain on our staff and volunteers, especially when dealing with the season ticket and membership rush over the summer and although they coped admirably this partnership will be very beneficial to the club.

Eventim have a track record as ticket partner for some of the biggest names in European football and for the Rio Olympics. In a typically FC manner, this partnership came about after Eventim’s National Sales Manager Richard McNevin-Duff approached me having been blown away by our supporters when he played a pre-match Course You Can Malcolm event at Broadhurst Park with his band The Space Monkeys. We look forward to developing this partnership."

The National Sales Manager for Eventim, Richard McNevin-Duff, is equally delighted at the partnership:

"My first FC United match was the last one at Gigg Lane when I was asked to play an acoustic set of my band Space Monkeys songs before the match. I took my five year old son Remi down to his first ever football match and he hasn’t stopped talking about it since.

The spirit of togetherness and doing things for the right reason really stood out, there was a real family feel to everything about the club. I’m from North Manchester so when I started working for Eventim I got in touch with the club to see if we could work together on the ticketing side of things.

FC United is more than a football club to its members and I’m here to make sure that doesn’t get lost in the way we work together, always putting the clubs values first in everything we do.

Eventim are the official ticket partner for FC St Pauli, Borussia Dortmund & Ajax amongst others so I’d like to think the club is in safe hands. Me and Remi are fully joined up club members now and he’s asked to join the ball team so we will both be around at most home games. Broadhurst Park is a fantastic stadium and I’m proud to bring on board Eventim as the official ticket partner for FC United of Manchester."
