On the 29th of May at 7pm, FC United will celebrate the 50th Anniversary to the day, of United’s 1968 European Cup Victory with an end of season Supporters evening at Broadhurst Park, with guests Alex Stepney and David Sadler - Tickets are £25 each.
10 years on from the tragedy of Munich, Sir Matt and his team finally attained their Holy Grail as Manchester United became the first English team to lift the European Cup.
For many older reds, it was this triumph that first cemented our love for Manchester United. Although many of us now look on from afar, our respect and admiration for United’s achievement that night still burns brightly.
Guests of honour will be
Alex Stepney and
David Sadler from that great team who will reminisce about that night and that season in general.
Our host for the night is comedian
“Big??? Lou Jones who has had us roaring with laughter on previous appearances on Comedy Nights at Broadhurst Park.
Supporters will have the opportunity to question Alex and David and also recount their own memories of that evening.
There will be a replay of the match and other contemporaneous video footage showing on the function room screens.
Tickets are priced at £25 each (inclusive of a hot pot supper), there will be raffle prizes, an auction and following FC’s recent triumph in the Manchester Premier Cup, the trophy will also be in attendance.
Tickets can be bought via the club shop,

or by telephoning the Club office on 0161 769 2005.
This is a Development Fund fundraiser with all proceeds after costs, going directly to the DF.
So come and help us celebrate a part of our shared history as United fans.
